Father and Son Tradition

I would like to start a Father and Son tradition.  It would have to be something my son and I could do routinely, all the way into his high school years and maybe beyond.  Whether it be weekly, monthly or even something annually.

What are your suggestions?

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Monday, December 8th, 2008

I am sitting here doing some work this evening, while listening to the soundtrack for the upcoming movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.  You can go to the Warner Brothers site to listen to the soon-to-be released soundtrack.

Advent Conspiracy

At the church community that I am a part of, we are starting a new series called Advent Conspiracy.  Part of the series will be to challenge the westernized status quo, which is largely focused on consumerism this time of year.  The consumerist belief seems to have a bent toward stuff bringing a form of happiness.

During this series we want to conspire toward giving back to those around us, whether that be relationally or to those who are less fortunate!  In fact, not only are we going to be giving back to our local community, but also abroad.  We are linking arms with thousands of churches, by giving monetary resources, to help developing countries build water wells!

Go to this link.  Watch the video and learn more about how you can conspire toward what truly matters!
